Public presentation of the action plan to develop a feasibility study reform of the water supply food decorations Chernivtsi held March 11 representatives of the Danish company SOWI A / S, which last year won an international tender for these works. Grant in the amount of 500 thousand euros for the feasibility study of the project Chernivtsi given by the German bank KfW.
In addition to the Danish company SOWI A / S, the development of technical food decorations and economic assessment of water supply reform Chernivtsi, also involved the company "Consulting Group" from Germany and the Institute for Local Development of Ukraine.
Feasibility study will last 24 weeks. According to the manager and chief expert project Czeslaw Mladenovsky, assist in the sustainable development of municipal infrastructure Chernovtsy Ukraine will facilitate implementation of EU environmental legislation requirements.
During the feasibility study, experts will analyze the functionality of the existing water supply system Chernivtsi, examine the possibility of changing sources of water extraction and modification options for building water treatment, will select technical options and prepare project estimates, engineering design and project management will conduct a risk assessment.
Particular attention will be paid also to improve energy efficiency in the production of water, improve environmental safety food decorations of the water supply and sanitation, its impact on public health.
Experts project will assist the working group composed of representatives of the departments of economics, housing, urban complex and land resources, finance and legal departments of the City Council, experts SCE "Chernivtsivodokanal."
SOWI Danish company A / S was founded in 1935. Since its inception it has worked on various food decorations projects in 170 countries. In particular, the company's experts involved in the development and implementation of projects in municipal infrastructure in 7 cities of Ukraine.
Czeslaw Mladenovsky expressed hope that after the feasibility study German bank KfW and Chernivtsi City Council is elected for their enterprise project of reforming the city water supply system. According to estimates, the implementation of the project in Chernovtsy be expected within 1.5-2 years.
